How RuleCrest works

A learner's path is video, then quiz, then the next module. Everything an organization needs to run that path, and to prove it happened, is on the same platform.

Learners

A path that cannot be skipped

Video, then quiz

Each module has a narrated video and a quiz. A module is cleared at 70% or better, and the next one unlocks. The quiz does not appear until the video has been watched.

Playback that cannot be skipped

The player does not allow seeking, and the server refuses video credit that arrives faster than the video could have been played. This raises the cost of clicking through; it is not a substitute for a conversation about honesty.

Points, ranks and badges

Where an organization turns gamification on, points, ranks and badges track progress through a course. Some courses use badges only. The certificate is issued whether or not gamification is on.

Organization admins

Run training without running infrastructure

People and seats

Add, edit and disable users, within the seat limit the organization is licensed for. Each course has its own seats and its own access window.

Recurring training periods

Set windows such as every six months. Outside a window a learner cannot start a new attempt but can still review past completions; each period starts clean and an earlier certificate stays reachable.

Reports and the course dashboard

See who has registered, started and completed, drill into each bucket, and download CSV reports of training status, question statistics and administrator access for your quarterly review.

Branding and sign-in

Apply the organization's branding where the platform operator has allowed it. Use passkeys, or connect the organization's OIDC identity provider for single sign-on.

Access to your own data

Export one person's data as a file, and erase an account together with its records and passkeys. An opt-in retention job removes long-disabled accounts on a schedule you choose.

Lost a device?

An admin issues a single-use enrolment link that registers a new passkey, optionally revoking the old ones and ending that person's sessions.

Sign-in and tenancy

Built so one customer cannot see another

One sign-in page for everyone

Learners, organization admins and platform operators all sign in on one authentication address with a passkey, then land on the right place for their role. Sign-in tickets are single-use and last 60 seconds.

One schema per organization

PostgreSQL 18 holds a platform schema (the organization registry, course catalog, operator accounts) and one schema per organization. A connection is fixed to one schema when it opens, so a request cannot name another organization's tables.

Entitlements that cannot be edited

Seat limits, access windows and disable flags are signed with a key the customer never holds. A tenant that edits its own row fails closed until the platform re-signs it.

Hosted or on your servers

The same code runs as a hosted platform for many organizations, or as one organization's own copy with no vendor access. Backups are checksummed, a restore is drilled end to end, and moving an organization between the two shapes is a documented procedure.
